It occurs to me, watching the Olympics this week, that these Winter events are a lot like running Ops in a response. There's no real money involved, the clothing's hideous, and the smallest mistake will cost you the whole event.
At least when the skater's crash, nobody goes to the hospital, though. Although they do have to wear spandex. Ouch.
